PepsiCo boosted up Round Table Pizza sales with gamified coupons. PepsiCo recently served mobile coupons to millennials within close proximity to participating retailers, such as quick-service restaurant Round Table Pizza, that invited them to spin a digital prize wheel to win a discount.
PepsiCo joined forces with mobile marketing platform Coupontools in November 2016 for mobile coupon activation via gamification. The campaign was created for PepsiCo's retail partner Round Table Pizza, specifically in a close radius to participating franchises.
How it worked?
1) Display ads advertised on social media are attracting consumers to the digital spin wheel.
2) Consumers are required to opt-in and enter their name, email and agree with the terms & conditions.
3) The consumer can tap the spin wheel and our platform will random assign prizes based on the campaign settings.
4) After the consumer won he receives an automated email with his coupon.
5) The consumer can redeem the coupon in the store and Round Table Pizza can validate the coupon by using our easy validation methods.
