You can distribute our mobile coupons with beacons. A beacon is a proximity technology which, in combination with an app, can load mobile coupons in consumers' smartphones.
What are beacons?
Beacons are a low-cost piece of hardware that use Bluetooth connections to transmit messages to beacon enabled smartphones. They are small enough to attach to a wall or countertop. Beacons are typically powered by small batteries, but they can be plugged into an outlet. They transmit small amounts of data up to 50 meters.
How does it work?
1. Create an app for consumers to download that can receive beacon messages.
2. Collect the unique URL that our platform generates for every coupon.
3. Program the beacon to redirect automatically to the URL when the app in the consumer's smartphone connects to the beacon.
4. When the consumer enters your location and connects with the beacon, the mobile coupon opens in his or her webbrowser.
